How the Shopify fee calculator works
The calculator starts with order amount: item subtotal plus buyer-paid shipping, minus discounts. It then estimates payment processing fees, Shopify third-party transaction fees when applicable, seller costs, and allocated plan/app costs.

Payment/platform fees = payment processing fee + Shopify third-party transaction fee, when applicable. Estimated profit = order amount - payment/platform fees - seller costs - allocated plan/app cost.
What this calculator does not include
- Country-specific Shopify pricing outside the editable US defaults.
- Chargebacks, disputes, currency conversion, duties, tax remittance, app-specific usage fees, refunds, POS fees, or Plus-negotiated account rates.
- Any guarantee that Shopify will apply the same rates to your specific order.
